Dr. Tammy Singleton
Pediatric Hemotologist
Dr. Singleton is a board-certified Pediatric Hematologist from New Orleans, Louisiana. She is the
Director of the Mississippi Center for Advanced Medicine’s Hemophilia Treatment Center and Division
Chief of Pediatric Hematology. Dr. Singleton serves children and adults with Hemophilia, Sickle Cell
Disease and other rare hematological conditions across Louisiana and the Mississippi Coast.
Dr. Singleton has authored numerous publications, served as a subject matter expert speaker around the
world, and as the principal investigator on numerous studies pertaining to Hemophilia. She also has
significant training and expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound in hemophilia patients. In her spare
time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cycling, fishing, and cooking.

Dr. Callaghan
Michael U. Callaghan, MD is Associate Professor of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at
Wayne State University School of Medicine and Director of the Sickle Cell Center at the
Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He received his medical degree from Wayne State
University and completed his pediatric residency and pediatric hematology/oncology
fellowship at Children's Hospital of Michigan. Dr Callaghan cares for more than 100 children
and adults with hemophilia and has served as Medical Director of Camp Bold Eagle
hemophilia camp. He participates in basic, translational, and clinical research. Dr Callaghan
has authored or coauthored over 50 peer-reviewed articles that have been published in
journals such as Haemophilia, Blood, Nature Genetics, and The New England Journal of
Medicine. He is the previous recipient of the John Penner Award from the Hemophilia
Foundation of Michigan and has been featured in Top Doctors in America.
