Family Education Weekend
Terms of Engagement

Virtual Family Education Weekend Conference Event Terms of Engagement

Thank you for registering to join us for our “Virtual” Family Education Weekend Conference event on March 6-7th, 2020.  This live event will be a fun way to come together while still honoring the need for social distancing.  We are planning a full list of learning, prizes and more that we hope you will enjoy!

In order to participate and get the maximum benefits from the live event, we have made a list we call the Rules of Engagement for the event so you know how to get the most out of this fun experience.

LINK TO REGISTER:https://www.hopeforhemophilia.org/hopecrawfishboil.html

  1. By participating at a Hope Charities event, you acknowledge that all terms and conditions are established and solely at the discretion of the organization.
  2. Each individual must be officially registered for this event in order to win any raffle item. All raffle items/giveaway items are final. HOPE will not be able to exchange or change anything about the item won.
  3. Family members should register separately and with different email addresses.
  4. During the registration process you will have the opportunity to provide your cell phone number and we will provide you with updates via text message throughout the conference.  If you wish to Opt-Out you can reply with the word STOP to disable text updates.
  5. By registering for this event, you acknowledge that you will be added to our mailing list and provided information about future events and updates. No email address will be given or sold to third parties without written consent. If you wish to be removed from our mailing list please email us at info@hope-charities.org.
  6. You will receive a registration packet in the mail with the address that you provided if registered no later than Friday, April 23, 2021. HOPE is not responsible for inaccurate or incomplete addresses provided or packets lost in transit.
  7. You must be affected by a bleeding disorder in order to receive any prizes.
  8. Industry personnel, whether affected by a bleeding disorder or not, may NOT receive prizes.
  9. To win a sponsored giveaway item you must be present within the first 20-minutes that the session starts. The first one to answer the giveaway question correctly in the Chat is the winner. Video must be on when answering questions and your full name must be on the video screen to be identified. Winners will be notified via email within 2 business days. Anyone logging in after the 20-minute mark of the session will not be permitted into the session.
  10. Hope does not take responsibility for any prize items lost or unredeemed, many of which will be sent by third parties.  It will be the sole responsibility of the recipient to use gift cards prior to expiration.  Hope is not liable for delivery to invalid or undeliverable addresses, whether physical or email.
  11. Breakout Sessions: You can win ONE giveaway per person, per day during Breakout Sessions.
  12. The Host makes all final decisions on giveaway winners based on the Host’s IP address receiving real-time information from their (ISP) internet service provider.
  13. If you win a prize, you will be responsible for providing the mailing address to whomever is donating your prize. You may be required to contact a third-party donor to receive your prize. If you do not wish to provide your information you may forfeit your eligibility to accept the prize.
  14. We will be using ZOOM as our platform.  You will have to have the most current edition of ZOOM (5.0) in order to participate. This may require you to download an app on your mobile device or onto your computer drive to attend, however, you will not be required to set up an account.
  15. Moderators are defined as the emcee leading a discussion.
  16. Each session will be moderated by one of our HOPE Staff members and will have a speaker / presenter who will cover a specific topic of interest.  Each session will give you valuable information and we invite your participation and ask questions.  At the end, you may be asked to fill out a quick survey.
  17. Please visit our website: https://www.hopeforhemophilia.org/hopecrawfishboil.html and click on sponsor logos at the bottom of the page for more information and educational links some of which may have door prizes. Door prizes are solely managed by the third parties.
  18. By virtue of the receipt of this Engagement Notice, you hereby acknowledge and consent to having your image and voice recorded during the live conferences.  Your likeness is part of the video conference, which is being recorded.
  19. If for any reason you object or do not want your image or likeness to be a part of any recording, the zoom platform allows you to ‘mute’ the video portion, in addition to the audio.  You have the right to keep your video and audio muted, so you will only be able to view any particular portion of or the entirety of the conference.  If during any portion of the conference you are ‘unmuted’ you do so willingly and voluntarily and such participation is tacit consent and agreement with the terms of section seventeen (17) of this Term of Engagement.
  20. The participant, hereby grants to the company, its agents, its owners, its advertising agency, licensees and producers or publishers of its promotional materials, educational materials and their successors and assigns, the right to use, publish and copyright my picture, portrait and likeness, in whole or part, including alterations, modifications, derivations and composites thereof, in advertising and promotion of the company, as well as the production of advertising, informational, marketing and educational programs, throughout the world forever.
